Sales Director Turkey – Food Packaging
Food Packaging Machines & Materials - Istanbul

Reporting to the Group CEO, the Sales Director will be responsible for all the Sales & Operations within the Turkish sales branch. He/she will particularly focus on the Sales and Business Development activities in all the country, coordinating the Sales team, supervising the logistic and administrative activities.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Increase the Sales of machines and consumable (packaging materials).
  • Maintain database of customers.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to customers.
  • Contribute for the Marketing with presentations, article contributions to newsletters, user Groups, and tradeshows.
  • Manage the entire Sales process with a special focus on marginality and cash flow.  
  • Consolidate and develop sales in the assigned regions, with a special care in developing relations, contacts and business activities with key persons in identified customers’ organizations.
  • Assess client requirements, communicate effectively client requirements to internal project team, prepare proposals and price quotes.
  • Work on sales growth and development through the introduction of new products and new solutions.
  • Harmonize the personal action with the support of sales team, which has to be driven and led in a dynamic and stimulating context.
  • Cooperate with the international management from the Headquarters, in order to understand the global market situation and trends, and to plan actions to improve the overall company performance.

Requirements and qualifications:
  • University degree in engineering/business, or equivalent.
  • Strong Sales experience (Sales Manager, Sales Director) in the Turkish Food Packaging and machines market.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Good capabilities to learn new packaging applications.
  • Good attitudes to successful work in an international team environment.
  • Strong problem solving approach and positive attitude.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • High reliability in the delivery of results.
  • Financial competence and focus upon KPI setting.
  • Proactive, practical and hands-on approach.
  • Excellent drive, judgment and creative insights.
  • Very Fluent in English.

The position is located in Istanbul area. Travel will be required (up to 70% of the working time) n all the Turkish territory as well as to the group Headquarters.
